A self-confessed "Jack of all Trades", Paul likes to put his hand to anything including sound for theatre, live events and films, studio and live recordings, stage lighting, rigging, photography, and multimedia for live event, web, print and animation.

He is proficient in using Sony Z1, PD170, and PD150 film cameras, for mixing he prefers Logic Pro but has experience with Protools, Cubase and Wavelab. For multimedia he mainly uses Adobe CS3 software packages but also edits using Final Cut Pro.

Paul started in the creative industry with fairly regular beginnings, mixing sound for school plays and at his local church. This encouraged him to diversify into video and lighting for theatre and music whilst at college.

It was during college that he discovered his love for photography with his first film SLR. This was quickly followed by a range of digital cameras (which were never far away) until he bought himself a Canon EOS 400D, which he uses today. He mainly shoots gig and live event photography but is constantly looking to improve his skills in other areas, including wedding and portrait photography.

Graduating with a BSc Honours in Sound Technology he has gained many valuable skills in Sound and New Media, both from his time in university, as well as outside, working for Cardiff Students Union as an Ents Gig Supervisor and working on various short and student films as a Sound Recordist.
