Woodzy - "Time to Shine" Shoot
We recently shot the debut music video for Woodzy, a new rapper to emerge on the scene, bringing with him enthusiasm and charisma and bucketloads of witty lyrics, delivered in a snappy manner. He has already caught the attention of Tim Westwood and appeared on his show and the future is his to take...

The video shoot was studio-based and featured a live performance by Woodzy, backed up by Katie Higham on vocals and supported by a crowd of Woodzy fans. We intended to make the studio look like a live venue and inject an element of rock n' roll gigs into it with the lighting set up which featured 2 mini-brute lights, strip lights and LEDs plus a mass of smoke.
The video also featured cutaway shots which have an urban feel to them without succumbing to the usual cliche's of rap music videos. Shot on location in Ealing, London, these shots feature Woodzy performing in a more relaxed manner.

The edit was kept fast paced to reflect his flow and was enhanced by the addition of some very J.J.Abrahams len flares on the performance shots and some gritty grading on the outside, urban shots.
Woodzy is an exciting talent, one with cross over appeal and worth keeping an eye on.

Stay tuned for the release of his debut video...
