Thom Flint
Cameraman, Editor
Thom graduated from Winchester University in 2010 with a joint honours degree in Film Studies and Film & Cinema Technologies. Being a joint honours course meant that Thom spent half of his time producing films, and half learning about film theory.
He gained practical experience of camera operation, directing, editing, sound recording, producing and even acting.
Since graduating Thom has completed a film editing internship with AfghanAid, been involved with Christian Aid on numerous film projects and filmed and edited the last two St Peter's C of E school productions in Nottingham; 'The Lion, The Witch and The Wardobe' and 'Joseph'. He has worked with Silvertip Films since late 2010 which has seen him become one of their Live & Unsigned camera and edit team, as well as camera operating on various other shoots (including Luke Potter music videos 'Tara' - which Thom also edited - and 'Coming Home'). He recently directed his first live music shoot at the annual Gosport Festival, filming blues band SunHouse.
Thom works on an iMac which he uses to edit video (using Final Cut Pro) as well as record his own music (using Logic) and record and edit live sound (using Pro Tools).
