White Sunday Guilfest video
2007's hottest Rock n' Roll band... Fresh from their storming set at this years Guilfest, White Sunday are aiming to make 2007 their year. We shot their energetic set infront of a packed crowd at the festival.
Formed in 2004 by enigmatic front man James Glanville and gifted guitarist and pianist Mike Walton, the pair eventually recruited former school pal and ex-Navy gunner Luke Parry on bass. Accomplished guitarist Alex Kaupa followed, before hedonistically unpredictable drummer Tony Chapman completed the line-up in late 2006.
The band have since supported Kasabian, Hundred Reasons and have a couple of major support slots coming up towards the end of the summer. Hailing from Reading - probably the only commuter town in the south east that can claim any sort of rock n'roll heritage - White Sunday bring the noise of riotous British rock in it's purest form with purposeful lyrics and a stirring sound that will continue to linger deep in your soul long after the song has stopped. Industry insiders are touting White Sunday as something legendary waiting to happen, and media, including Clint Boon (Inspiral Carpets) at XFM Manchester, are desperate for more. Tracks such as 'B's Beautiful', 'If You've Got Soul' and the glorious 'Chaperone' need to be heard now.
