We started working with Davey Pearson at the District Post in February 2018.

He wanted to produce a weekly news vlog to accompany the print version of his paper, and grow the online reach of the paper.

Each week, we film the news and updates on the area at the District Post office and then from there…well, anything goes!

We have interviewed local business owners in the office, interviewed them on location, reported from the construction of a new sports centre in town, gone back in time to interview a mediaeval queen and then attend a mediaeval joust, we’ve flown all around the cgi proposal for a new carpark in town and a whole lot more!

Working on DPTV is a pleasure for us as each week is different, each week all ideas are on the table and creating engaging, entertaining content is the aim of the shoot. Davey has grown in strength as a presenter, using his natural charisma to kickstart this new chapter in his working life. Also filming each weeks episode in the morning and having it edited and online by the end of the day is a challenge we enjoy as well!
