The Horsham Film Festival wrapped up for 2026 with another fantastic Awards Night!
On September 4th 2026, we held a night of networking for filmmakers and local businesses, screened clips from all our shortlisted films and screened the winning films in full, plus had a special screening of A Girl Called Alice and all had a great night out!
As with last year, the photography and promotional video production was produced entirely by students from the Media department at Collyer’s College!
This year, for the first time ever, we had every winner present on the night – this was really exciting to have people come up, talk about their films and receive their awards. This year, our sponsors Pigeon Production arranged for physical awards to be made, bespoke to each winner and this was a real highlight to do this again.
A Girl Called Alice is a short film produced by our sponsors and friends at Fact Not Fiction Films and is already achieving festival circuit attention. Screening it, out of competition, was also a highlight and the film was really well received by it’s hometown audience.
Showing the winning films in full, to a full audience at the Everyman in Horsham was a thrill for the filmmakers, regardless of their level and position within their career.
